Christmas and New Year had some snow and time to celebrate.
Now winter started and we got some snow flakes. Uphill on the Feldberg summit the road was closed because of too much ice on the trees.
Although already November the trees are showing wonderful colours.
Back home we had a lovely autumn with beatiful colours. Autumn is also the time when after harvesting it is possible to have some fun on fests. In Bad Homburg there was the Laternenfest and even nearer in Obernhain was a Flugfest.
In August we had a gorgeous vacation in Barcelona. The plan was to go to town in the morning, do siesta and then go to the beach. Because of the weather we went less often to the beach. Two times we even got really wet. However the temparature was quite nice.
Juli brought a summer trip to the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) meeting in Toronto. The weather was quite nice and after the conference there was some time to explore the city and take some photos.
Summer flowers are blooming everywhere.
The summer brought some hot days and we got somewhat sun burned at a long day at the Hessentag 2014 in Bensheim. The day ended with Sunrise Avenue in an Open Air Concert.
The yearly festival of roses and lights in the Palmengarten Frankfurt. People come with lot of tealights and create artworks out of it.
We strolled for a few hours through the Zoo of Cologne.
Flowers, flowers, flowers everywhere.
Spring is finally here and everything is blooming. In Frankfurt the yearly night of the museums was worth a visit.
Easter had a lot of sun and the flowers are blooming. The Palmengarten in Frankfurt was a nice destination for a stroll.
There are not only a lot of eggs but also a lot of blossoms at this years easter.
April spring made large progress and a lot of blooming and growing happened.
A week long business trip to Nazareth for a training.
The Luminale has a lot of places where some is to view. With little time it is difficult to decide where to go.
One night - 20 locations - 50 acts. Unfortunately it is not possible to be at the same time at several places.
Spring is early this year and came with some nice days, fresh green and a lot of blossoms.
Early March and a really warm and sunny day made for strolling through the zoo.
There was no real winter this year, but still this trip was like a week in summer.
This year the winter was mild and only a few traces of snow.
