de | en | The Long Room of the Old Library of Trinity College in Dublin. The library was founded together with the college in 1592. The library has legal deposit rights for Ireland and Great Britain. As such even the long room, even though extended in height, is far too small for all the books. The long room is the main chamber of the old library and was build between 1712 and 1732. It houses 200000 of the oldest books of the library. | 4752x3168px | 6.5MB | Original Image |
